GETTING UP: The Tempt One Story
"After being diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs Disease, the legendary, fully paralyzed graph artist, "TemptOne," gets his creative voice back through an unlikely friendship with a perfect stranger. Getting Up is a documentary about the life of artist, TEMPT. It asks the question, "how does a fallen man get back up?" Tony 'TEMPT' Quan is a legendary LA graffiti artist, social activist and publisher. In 2003, TEMPT was diagnosed with ALS. Except for the use of his eyes, he is now unable to move, breathe or speak...but his mind and creative spirit are intact. Mick Ebeling founded the Not Impossible Foundation in order to give a voice back to TEMPT, and in 2009 an open-source DIY device called 'The EyeWriter' was created that allowed TEMPT to once again do his art. Getting Up beautifully illustrates that through the will of two men, and on the shoulders of a community, anything is possible."

White Walls Gallery is pleased to present Oceanic Awareness Collaboration's first annual traveling benefit art auction, Art on the Move. OAC is starting a series of annual road shows beginning this year in the fog city, San Francisco, and they have partnered with White Walls Gallery to bring SF's largest charitable group show to life.

The show will contain a wide range of mediums and stylistic varieties from multiple genres such as fine art, photography, street art, sculpting, etc... The auction is a one night only charity event boasting more than 80 artists on February 18th, 2012 from 6-11pm, and is open to the public with a $10 donation at the door. OAC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed to use art, music, and fashion to raise environmental awareness through creative outlets. DJ Mr. Numberonederful a.k.a. LC from Cannibal Flower & Thinkspace galleries of Los Angeles will be providing the show with music for the evening. Refreshments will also be available the night of the show.

Digital Gravel has just released some limited edition prints and tees from the very first pop-up show that took place at the H+R Gallery in Venice. This was the first time I started experimenting with the "Halo" design, so I figured I'd do one for the CREW. There were only 50 prints and 36 tees ever made, all hand-printed by the World Famous H+R Crew! This is the first and only time these will be made available to the public.
